FROM THE CAREER MOVE RESET SYSTEM
The
Quit-It
How to make a move
without
burning everything down
You know something needs to shift.
You’re just questioning the right move.
Whether you’re ready to leave, reach for more, or change direction, when every move feels unclear or risky, it can be hard to know what to do next.
The Quit-It Pivot is a decision-making system designed to reduce the pressure, lower the stakes, and quiet the noise around one real work or career decision – so you can choose a better next move you actually trust.
NAME WHAT'S HAPPENING
Get clear on what's pushing you toward a change and why this decision feels so hard to make.
LOWER THE STAKES
Sort through fear, pressure, and possibilities so the decision stops feeling so all-or-nothing.
MAKE A MOVE YOU TRUST
Identify a next step that fits what you want now and feels less like something you'll later regret.
make a better move before making a bigger one.
You're not stuck. You're trying to decide what's worth the risk
You're not stuck. You're trying to decide what's worth the risk
Because once a move starts to feel real, so does everything you might lose.
- What if I leave a good thing and realize I overreacted?
- What if speaking up changes how people see me?
- What if I take the promotion and end up hating it?
- What if I take a job somewhere else and it's is even worse?
- What if I give up something I have now and wish I hadn't?
- What if I ask for what I want...and it doesn't go the way I hope?
you're not alone.
These are the kinds of questions smart, capable women wrestle with when they know something needs to shift — but every possible move seems to come with a cost.
more thinking can lead to more spinning
When the stakes are high, most of us try to think our way into certainty.
But the more pressure the decision carries, the harder it gets to trust any answers.
- You replay the conversation.
- You seek more advice.
- You make another pros and cons list.
- You look for signs you're making the right call.
- You wait for clarity to finally show up and tell you what to do.
The Better question isn't "what's my next move?"
When something feels off, most of us jump straight into trying to make a decision.
- Should I stay or leave?
- Should I speak up or let it go?
- Should I take the promotion?
- Should I look for another job?
But when you start with the decision, instead of what's driving it, every option starts to feel too hard to trust.
The better first question is:
What am I actually trying to change?
That is where The Quit-It Pivot begins.
Not by forcing a stay-or-go decision.
By helping you slow the pressure, get underneath the reaction, and understand what kind of move would actually make things better.

Hi, I’m Lenore Abare.
I created The Quit-It Pivot because I know what it’s like to reach a point where something at work doesn’t feel right anymore.
To wonder if you need a new job, a new challenge, or a completely different direction.
To question yourself.
To overthink every option.
To worry that making the wrong move could leave you worse off than staying where you are.
I’ve been there.
And I’ve spent years helping ambitious women navigate those same moments.
What I’ve learned is that most women don’t need someone to tell them what to do.
They need a place to slow down, think differently, pressure-test their assumptions, and understand what’s really driving the urge to make a move.
That’s why I created The Quit-It Pivot.
Not to convince you to quit.
Not to convince you to stay.
But to help you make a better move before making a bigger one.
I’d be honored to help you discover what that looks like for you.
See you on the inside,
Lenore
FAQs
Is this only for women who want to quit?
No. The Quit-It Pivot is not about convincing you to leave or talking you into staying.
It is for the moment when something needs to shift, but the next move does not feel clear enough to trust.
Maybe you are thinking about leaving. Maybe you are not. Maybe you like parts of your job, your team, or the work you do — but something is costing more energy than you want to keep giving it.
This session helps you slow down and reduce the pressure, see what is really going on, and find one better next move before you make a bigger move.
What kind of issue can I bring?
Bring one real workday or career friction point that keeps taking up space.
That could be a conversation you keep avoiding, a role that no longer fits, a difficult dynamic, a pattern you keep working around, a job search question, a stay-or-go decision, or the feeling that you are capable of more but not sure what move to make next.
You do not need to arrive with a perfectly defined problem. If it keeps taking up mental energy, we can work with it.
What if my situation feels too specific?
That is okay. Specific is useful.
The goal is not to solve everyone’s situation with generic advice. The goal is to help you look at your real situation differently, get underneath the obvious problem, and identify a next move that fits what is actually happening.
You will not be asked to share private details you do not want to share.
Is this a webinar?
No. This is a working session.
You will not just sit and listen to information. You will bring one real thing and use the process during the session to think through it in real time.
The goal is for you to leave with more clarity, more options, and one practical next move you can actually use.
What if I'm not ready to make a big decision?
You do not have to be.
In fact, that is part of the point.
The Quit-It Pivot is designed to help you make a better next move before forcing a bigger decision. You do not need to decide your whole career path, quit your job, update your resume, or map out your entire life.
Start with one real thing. Work it through. Find the next move you can trust.
What if I want more individualized support?
The Quit-It Pivot is my recommended starting point.
For many women, this work helps clarify what is actually happening (deeper than what’s obvious), what they really want (not just what is accessible), and what kind of move they may need to make next. That clarity becomes the launch point for deeper, more individualized support.
After the program, you’ll have the option to explore what continued support could look like.
Some women prefer the privacy and customization of one-on-one work. If that feels like a better fit, we can talk through what you are trying to achieve and shape a more tailored path from there.

I’d love to hear it.

You Don't have to make your next move today.
You just have to take the first step toward understanding it.
If you’re ready to stop circling the same questions and start making decisions you trust, I’d love to help.

Those questions have
one important thing
in common.
Those Questions Have one important thing in common
They’re not really about whether to stay or go.
They’re more about whether what you do next will actually make things better –or worse.
Right now, the confidence you need to make a move just isn’t there.
here's how we'll work together
one real thing
forward
Workday friction
Bring a pressure-point, pattern, or tension in your day-to-day work that keeps eating up time, energy, or mental space.
Maybe it’s a conversation you’re avoiding, a dynamic you keep absorbing, a role issue that feels unclear, or a recurring frustration that is starting to feel harder to ignore.
Job Search or Next-Move Thinking
You’re looking around, wondering what else might be possible, or questioning what really should happen next.
Maybe you’re looking at jobs, updating your resume, considering new opportunities, or wondering whether the desire for something different is a signal worth paying attention to.
Stay-or-go Tension
You’re not sure whether to keep working through it, reposition yourself, or make a bigger change.
Part of you wants to stay and make it work. Part of you wants to leave. And part of you just wants to stop circling the same problem or question.
That’s exactly the kind of tension we can work with.
